Job Title: Research Analyst – Market & Business Research
Mode: Full Time – Remote
Experience: 2-4 Years
About the Role
As part of our research team expansion, we are looking for motivated and analytically strong Research Analysts who bring a solid understanding of business dynamics along with hands-on market research experience. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver high-quality, insight-driven research that supports strategic decision-making across industries.
Key Responsibilities
We expect the Research Analyst to independently manage end-to-end research assignments, including defining research objectives, designing research frameworks, and executing both primary and secondary research. The role requires conducting in depth secondary research using credible sources such as company filings, industry publications, databases, and regulatory documents. You will also support primary research activities including questionnaire design, expert interviews, and data validation.
The candidate will be responsible for market sizing, forecasting, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis using structured methodologies such as top-down and bottom-up approaches. Preparing client-ready deliverables—Samples, Business Proposal, Reports, Dashboards, presentations, and insight summaries—will be a core responsibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, consulting, and technology teams to ensure research outputs are aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in market research, consulting, or business research roles. A strong foundation in secondary research, data analysis, and business interpretation is essential. Experience in industries such as utilities, energy, infrastructure, transportation, digital transformation, or technology-led domains is preferred but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in market sizing, competitive intelligence, and trend analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel is mandatory; familiarity with data visualization tools or analytics platforms is an added advantage.
Educational Background
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field is required. An MBA or postgraduate qualification in marketing, strategy, or analytics will be considered a strong plus.
What We Look For
We value candidates who demonstrate structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to connect data with real-world business implications. The role requires ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. Candidates should be comfortable handling ambiguity and contributing ideas beyond assigned tasks.
